Islam is an Arabic word and its means (submission)
In religious context,however ,Islam means submission to Allah alone .
Thus ,a Muslim is aperson who believes in Allah and obeys His Commandments and Injunction.
Fundamental Beliefs :
there are five fundamental beliefs , or articles of faith, in islam .
These beliefs reveal Allah's scheme for providing guidance to man in this world , and also to define the nature ,position and status of man in it.These beliefs are :
1 Belief in Allah
2 Belief in the day of judgment
3 Belief in the prophts
4 Belief in the Scriptures (HOLY BOOK)
5 Belief in the Angels
